Bayern Munich are edging closer to signing Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson during the current summer transfer window, as the Bavarian giants look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.
According to German outlet Bild Sport, Bayern have reached a preliminary agreement with the Senegalese striker, who has already given the green light to the move. Negotiations are ongoing with Chelsea to finalize the details and terms of the deal.
Jackson, 24, was identified by Bayern earlier this month as a potential alternative if a move for Niclas Füllkrug failed to materialize. The Bavarians see him as another option alongside star striker Harry Kane.
The Senegal international, under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2033, featured in 37 matches across all competitions for Chelsea last season. He scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists, showcasing his ability to contribute both as a scorer and creator.
If completed, the Nicolas Jackson deal would give Bayern an additional attacking weapon as they aim to compete strongly on all fronts in the 2025-2026 campaign.
