Chelsea FC dominated in the second half to claim the UEFA Conference League title on Wednesday with four unanswered goals in a 4-1 victory over Spain's Real Betis in Wrocław, Poland. Nicolas Jackson was among the scorers for the Blues who ended their European campaign in style with a trophy.

Cole Palmer's inspired second half sparked Chelsea to victory and it was the young England national team rising star who set up Jackson for the go-ahead goal with a brilliant assist in the 70th minute. Five minutes after Enzo Fernandez equalized for Chelsea, Palmer got free on the right wing and crossed for Jackson to nod home.

Betis got off to a dream start and it was the hero from the semifinals, Morocco national team attacker Abde Ezzalzouli, who put the Spanish side ahead in the 9th minute. Ezzalzouli, who scored the extra time winner in the semifinals against Fiorentina, collected a pass from Isco on the left wing and fired low past Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.

But it was the English Premier League side who woke up at halftime to deliver a sensational performance. Jadon Sancho and Moisés Caicedo added goals after Jackson's winner to confirm the trophy for Chelsea, who finished 4th place in the Premier League to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.

Jackson now has 15 goals and 6 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions. His season is not over yet as Chelsea now turn their focus to the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. They will open up their tournament in Group D on June 16 against either Mexico's Club America or Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC in Atlanta, Georgia.
