Nigeria midfielder Christantus Uche nearing Premier League move to Wolves

Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche is reportedly on the verge of a major career move, with a transfer to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers close to completion.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Wolves have submitted a formal bid of €20 million to Getafe for the 22-year-old’s signature.

Sources indicate that negotiations are at an advanced stage, with Wolves eager to secure the deal before the summer transfer window closes on September 1.

Also, talks are ongoing and progressing well between Wolves and Uche’s camp. The potential transfer marks a significant step for Uche, who has quickly made a name for himself since joining Getafe in 2024 from Spanish lower-league club AD Ceuta.

In his debut La Liga season, he impressed with four goals and six assists in 33 appearances.
