Nigeria's Flying Eagles discover their opponents at upcoming WAFU-B U-20 Boys Cup

Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, have learned who their 2025 WAFU-B U-20 Boys Cup opponents will be after being drawn in Group A of the regional competition.

The Flying Eagles will face tournament hosts Ghana and regional rivals Benin Republic. Meanwhile, Group B features sees Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic, and Togo. The tournament will take place from 10 July to 23 July.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
Nigeria are the reigning WAFU-B U-20 champions, a title that secured their spot in the last U-20 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Egypt. Their third place finish at that U-20 AFCON earned them qualification for the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will take place in Chile from 27 September through 19 October.
