Twenty players are confirmed to be in the Nigeria national team camp in London as the Super Eagles ramp up their preparations for Wednesday’s Unity Cup game against long-standing rivals Ghana.

The players include 10 players from the NPFL led by Ahmed Musa as well as Europe-based pros like Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Frank Onyeka, Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers and new call-up Felix Agu. Werder Bremen's German-born left back Agu, 25, has been cleared to play for the Super Eagles after previously representing Germany at the under-21 level.

Nigeria will be without Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman as well as the Fulham duo of Alex Iwobi and Cavin Bassey, while Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey and Antoine Semenyo.

Nigeria beat the Black Stars 2-1 the last time both rivals clashed in a friendly in Morocco March 2024. However, prior to that a one all draw in Abuja saw the Super Eagles miss out on the 202 World Cup when the teams clashed in the playoff round of qualifying from the African region.
