The final day of Round 14 in the Nile Egyptian League featured two encounters, with Ghazl El Mahalla securing an away win against Al Masry while Tala’ea El Gaish claimed victory at home over ZED FC.

Ghazl El Mahalla beats Al Masry with a narrow sin

Ghazl El Mahalla earned a 1-0 victory over Al Masry. The only goal of the match came in the 54th minute when Mohamed Ashraf capitalized an attempt by Al Masry goalkeeper Mahmoud Hamdy to play the ball, dispossessing him and slotting the ball into the empty net.

This defeat marks Al Masry’s first loss in five games across the league and cup competitions. Despite the setback, Al Masry remains fourth in the standings with 23 points, while Ghazl El Mahalla climbs to 14th place with 14 points.

Tala’ea El Gaish triumphs over ZED FC

Tala’ea El Gaish secured a 1-0 home win against ZED FC, thanks to a decisive goal from Hamed Khaled El-Gabry in the 62nd minute. The midfielder fired home from inside the box after a ball fell his way following a deflection off ZED's right-back Sameh Ibrahim.

ZED FC’s unwinning series continues, as they have now gone six league matches without a win, in addition to another loss in the cup. Tala’ea El Gaish’s victory propels them to eighth place with 20 points, while ZED FC is in the 13th place with 16 points.
