Nile League: Al Masry hold Zamalek and National Bank punish Ceramica Cleopatra

The third round of the title phase in the Nile Egyptian League continued with two key matches.
Al Masry 0-0 Zamalek
Zamalek played out a goalless draw away from home against Al Masry, with both teams failing to find the net throughout the match.
The most notable moment came in the 63rd minute when Nasser Mansi scored a brilliant goal after skillfully dribbling past multiple defenders and firing into the net. However, the goal was disallowed after the referee noticed the ball had touched his hand during the build-up. VAR review confirmed the handball and the goal was cancelled.
Current Standings:
Zamalek remains in third place with 39 points, while Al Masry stays fourth with 35 points.
Ceramica Cleopatra 2-4 National Bank of Egypt
In an exciting clash, National Bank of Egypt secured a 4-2 away win against Ceramica Cleopatra.
Mohamed Reda Bobo opened the scoring for Ceramica Cleopatra in the 17th minute with a shot from inside the box after a pass from Fakheri Lakay.
However, National Bank mounted a comeback with three consecutive goals:
In the 69th minute, Saido Sanboury scored the equalizer with a shot after receiving a cross inside the box.
In the 73rd minute, Yaw Annor capitalized on a misplaced pass by a Ceramica Cleopatra player and scored directly.
In the 78th minute, Ceramica goalkeeper Koko tried to dribble past striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan, but Rayan dispossessed him and scored into the empty net, making it 3-1.
Ceramica managed to reduce the deficit in the 83rd minute with a stunning goal by Fakheri Lakay from inside the box.
But Ahmed Madbouly sealed the victory for National Bank in the 93rd minute with a brilliant individual effort, skillfully beating a defender before firing home the fourth goal.
This was Ceramica Cleopatra’s first loss in three matches across all competitions.
