No rest for URA FC as Entebbe UPPC clash is pulled forward

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League has brought forward URA FC’s Matchday 12 clash against Entebbe UPPC following the Tax Collectors’ early exit from the 2026 Mapinduzi Cup in Zanzibar.

Initially slated for Sunday, January 18, the fixture will now be played on Tuesday, January 13 at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, with kick-off set for 4:00 PM.

League organizers explained that the adjustment was made to accommodate URA FC’s return travel from Zanzibar, allow for player recovery, and align the schedule with FUFA’s January–February calendar.

Both sides have so far played 11 league matches this season.

URA FC currently sit 12th on the table with 11 points and will be desperate to use the fixture as a chance to climb away from the lower half.

Entebbe UPPC, on the other hand, are 6th with 20 points and will be targeting maximum points to strengthen their grip on a top-half finish.
