Mamelodi Sundowns’ new midfielder, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, has revealed his primary goal after joining the club on a season-long loan from Major League Soccer (MLS) side FC Dallas.
The 27-year-old, who previously played in Sundowns’ youth structures, expressed his desire to bring silverware to the team during his time in South Africa.
“There are a lot of expectations, which is the reason why I chose to play this sport: to win trophies and to bring smiles to people who pay money to see us play,” Ntsabeleng said during his unveiling. “My biggest mission is to get a trophy for this team, and I’m proud to be yellow.”
Ntsabeleng spent the last seven years in the United States, playing two seasons with FC Dallas, where his contract runs until December 2026. The MLS club announced his loan move to the Betway Premiership champions on Friday night, with Sundowns confirming the transfer on Saturday.
His arrival marks a return to his roots, having also been part of the Kaizer Chiefs youth setup before his move abroad. Ntsabeleng featured in 14 games for Dallas in the 2024/25 campaign, contributing two assists.
