Al Ahly SC have officially decided not to extend the loan spell of Moroccan left-back Yahya Attiyat Allah, bringing an end to his stay with the club after just one season.
Attiyat Allah joined the Red Devils on loan from Russian side FC Sochi for the 2024/25 campaign. During his time in Cairo, he made 22 appearances across all competitions, scoring once and providing three assists.
However, his season was significantly disrupted by injuries. The Moroccan international missed a total of 73 days due to a facial fracture and an additional 42 days with a hamstring injury — resulting in his absence from 24 matches across the season.
He featured in one game at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, starting in Al Ahly’s clash against Brazilian side Palmeiras who won the game 2-0.
Despite his injury setbacks, Attiyat Allah leaves Al Ahly with three trophies to his name: The FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup, Egyptian Premier League title, and the Egyptian Super Cup.
On the international stage, the Yahia Attiyat Allah earned 22 caps for the Moroccan national team.
With his loan now concluded, Attiyat Allah will return to FC Sochi.
