Ogunmodede targets CAF Champions League triumph with Remo Stars

Remo Stars technical adviser Daniel Ogunmodede has asserted that his goal is to win the CAF Champions League.
Ogunmodede recently guided Remo Stars to win the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title in the 2024/25 season. He made his latest proclamation regarding the Champions League while speaking with Super FM as the Remo Stars technical adviser mentioned that it was his personal target.
“Personally, a Remo Stars coach, as of today, I want to win the CAF Champions League.”
Remo Stars’ league conquest was the first major title in the history of the Ogun State club. Ogunmodede’s side will be making their second appearance in the CAF Champions League next season after previously being eliminated in the qualifying stages of the 2023-24 edition.
Enyimba remain the only NPFL team to have won the competition in the past, capturing back-to-back continental conquests in the 2003 and 2004 editions of Africa's most prestigious club competition along with the CAF Super Cup in 2004 and 2005.
