Experienced midfielder Solomon Ali Okwalinga has officially joined Lugazi FC as their final acquisition in the ongoing transfer window.
Okwalinga, who was a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Kitara FC last month, has signed a two-year deal with the Najjembe-based outfit.
His arrival brings Lugazi’s tally of new signings to five, following the earlier additions of Paul Busolo and Yusuf Mafabi from Mbarara City, former Express left-back Dauson Mafumu, and winger Edrine Owachgiu Junior.
Okwalinga brings valuable experience and leadership to the Lugazi FC midfield, having previously featured for top-tier sides including KCCA FC, Mbarara City, Onduparaka FC, and Synergy.
Lugazi FC will head into the new season under the guidance of co-coaches Steven Bogere and Francis Mugerwa.
