Raphael Onyedika said that Club Brugge are not going to be afraid in their UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona. Club Brugge will welcome the Spanish club at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Wednesday.

The Nigerian midfielder, who featured in the club’s 2-1 Belgian Pro League defeat against Dender on Sunday, told the club’s official website that they won’t be intimidated by the pedigree of Barcelona.
“It’s clear to me that it won’t be an easy task again next Wednesday, but nevertheless, everyone here is looking forward to it, that’s a fact. We know what’s coming, but we can’t be afraid.”
The midfielder aslo reflected on his recovery from his short spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
“I worked very hard with the medical staff to return as soon as possible, and today (Saturday) I was able to make my comeback,” added Onyedika.
“It’s not easy to sit on the sidelines and watch your teammates play, but of course I had no other choice.”
Nicky Hayen’s side are currently 20th onn the Champions League table and will be looking for their second win of the league phase in the 2025-26 edition.
