Orlando Pirates, Richards Bay lead pre-season training

Richards Bay and Orlando Pirates are leading Betway Premiership teams that have stepped up preseason training ahead of the next campaign.

The Natal Rich BoyZ have shared highlights of how they are preparing for next season with most of their players back for training.The Kwa-Zulu Natal-based team has shared a video of their players returning from pre season. The players are seeing undergoing medical tests.

“The squad returned this morning and will undergo routine tests ahead of the 2025/26 season,” reads Bay’s statement.

Pirates followed suit to give an update of their players undergoing a medical. The Buccaneers will head to Spain for pre season games against the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Granada FC.

Nothing has been heard about Magesi FC, Polokwane City FC, Marumo Gallants, SuperSport United, Stellenbosch FC, TS Galaxy and AmaZulu FC’ s pre-season training. The likes of Chippa United are busy strengthening their playing squads.

On the other hand, Lamontville Golden Arrows have published a video showing some of their stars busy working it out on a beach. Elsewhere, Kaizer Chiefs will play friendlies with Dutch opposition.

“We are looking forward to next month’s pre-season tour of the Netherlands, as we prepare for the upcoming season,” Chiefs stated.
