Nigeria international Victor Osimhen remained coy over his future after guiding Galatasaray to a historic 25th Turkish Süper Lig title on Sunday.
The Super Eagle was on target as Galatasaray defeated Kayserispor 3-0 at RAMS Park to increase their points tally to 89, eight points clear of second-placed Fenerbahçe with two matches left to conclude the season.
Osimhen opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Baris Alper Yilmaz made it 2-0 in the 29th minute. Fernando Muslera scored the third from the penalty spot in the 89th minute to seal the emphatic win.
“I feel very happy. It is incredible to take part in Galatasaray’s history and reach the fifth star,” said Osimhen after the game. “We have two matches left. We will look to have fun. I am enjoying the moment. I am not thinking about my future.”
Osimhen and Galatasaray have sealed the double this season, also winning the Turkish Cup following a 3-0 win against Trabzonspor in the final on May 14.
The Turkish league is Osimhen's second European league title after he helped Napoli become Italian Serie A champions in 2022/2023. So far in the league, Osimhen has featured 29 times, scoring 25 goals and providing five assists.
