Paris FC’s busy summer transfer window will continue with the club close to signing Malian midfielder Amadou Haidara.
The RB Leipzig player has spent his entire football career at Red Bull-owned clubs.
The newly promoted French Ligue 1 side, Paris FC, are looking to complete a major move for the Bundesliga-based player. According to L’Équipe, Paris FC are in advanced talks with the German club regarding the details of the transfer.
Haidara, 27, has one year remaining on his contract with RB Leipzig.
Haidara made 40 appearances last season for RB Leipzig in all competitions. He did not feature in any preseason matches due to a knee injury. Paris FC hopes to strengthen their midfield with the arrival of the Mali international.
Haidara is a two-time Austrian Bundesliga winner and has won the DFB-Pokal twice with Leipzig. He has been one of the key figures for Leipzig during their time in the Bundesliga.
Paris FC previously signed Nigerian attacker Moses Simon from FC Nantes.
