Paris FC are strengthening their squad in hopes of achieving positive results in Ligue 1. They have already signed Nigerian striker Moses Simon from FC Nantes and according to Foot Mercato, Traoré is close to becoming their next African player. Real Sociedad and Paris FC are in talks regarding the possible transfer, with a deal expected to be struck in the next few days.
The energetic Traoré left Stade Rennais to join the La Liga club in 2023. He captained Rennes before his move to Spain. The 32-year-old is well known for his pace, attacking intent, and leadership qualities. Paris FC are in need of experienced players as they prepare to embark on their top-flight campaign in the 2025/26 season.
Traoré recently agreed to return to the Mali national team after a positive discussion with the federation. The former Eagles captain had been in self-imposed exile following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal defeat against Ivory Coast.
