Ghana international Thomas Partey believes Arsenal will finish off Real Madrid and qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The North London club will travel for the return quarter-final second leg match against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu carrying a 3-0 advantage to the Spanish capital gained from the first leg win at the Emirates.
“I think we've experienced this many times when we play here and I think it's not going to be something different,” said Partey after the Brentford Premier League fixture as quoted by the club’s official website. “We just have to be confident with the ball and try to play our game.
“We all know what we have to do. We have to go there with the mentality to win. We want to win every game. And I think we have to play our game, be confident with the ball and also try to find our weaknesses and keep attacking them.”
Partey scored Arsenal’s goal against the Bees in the 1-1 draw and speaking of the goal after David Raya had started the move after defending a Brentford corner before Declan Rice set him up to score, he said: “It’s something that we've been doing for a while now. I'm lucky to be at that position at that time. But normally we have a lot of quick players who are always on the counter. I think it's just something that we always do.
Sometimes it's the best part of the game to score. And I'm really happy to have a goal. Every player on the pitch wants to score from the back. It's a great one for me personally to keep improving.”
