Orbit College FC, fresh off their promotion to the Betway Premiership, held a media launch today at Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg to introduce their technical team, new kits, and their complete squad for the 2025/26 season.
A key highlight was the unveiling of six new players, including three notable loanees from Orlando Pirates: Thuso Moleleki, Yanga Mabele, and fan-favourite Monnapule Saleng.
Saleng’s return to his boyhood club, where he first made a name for himself, is particularly anticipated. The talented winger will be looking to reignite his career after a period of absence from the Pirates squad since December of last year.
Orbit College, affectionately known as the ‘Mswenko Boys,’ earned their well-deserved promotion to South Africa’s top flight last month by triumphing in the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs.
They battled against Cape Town City FC and Casric Stars, ultimately topping the mini-league with eight points after a strong regular season where they finished second in the SA football second-tier.
The Pogiso Makhoye-coached side will also welcome Thato Mohlomme from Richards Bay FC, Yamkela Gamede from Hungry Lions FC, and Lucky Malatsi from Lerumo Lions as part of their new recruits.
They will be joining Durban City FC, who secured automatic promotion by clinching the Motsepe Foundation Championship title.
