Despite winning them the Kenyan Premier League title, Police FC have parted ways with coach Ettiene Ndayaragije following their exit from the CAF Champions League.
The law enforcers confirmed in a statement that they had parted on a mutual agreement but did not name who will succeed the Burundian coach.
However, Pan-Africa Football understands former AFC Leopards and Simba SC coach Patrick Aussems is in line to replace Ndayiragije.
A statement from Police confirmed Ndayaragije sacking by saying: “Kenya Police wishes to announce to the general public that effective 29th October 2025, it has mutually parted ways with the Head Coach Ettiene Ndayaragije.
“During his tenure, Ndayaragije diligently steered the Club to bag its maiden league trophy. Owing to his desire to individually advance his career and experience, Ndayaragije requested the Club allow him to pursue greener pastures and newer challenges.
The statement added: “The Club acceded to this request. Ndayaragije has a special place in Kenya Police history. The Club’s Board of Directors and the Executive take this opportunity to wish him the best of luck even as he pursues bigger challenges within newer coaching frontiers.”
Police journey in the CAF competition ended in the second preliminary round after losing to Sudanese champions Al Hilal Omdurman 4-1 on aggregate. Ndayaragije sacking comes just a few days after Ulinzi Stars fired coach Dunstan Nyaudo. Nyaudo has since been replaced by former player Stephen Ocholla.
