Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko has set a target of winning at least one trophy – the Premier League or the Ghana FA Cup next season.
The Mauve and Yellow finished eighth last term under the guidance of the former Ghana international who joined them midway into the campaign. The two time Ghana FA Cup champions are looking to better their lots when the next domestic football campaign returns in September.
“The team bonding is very good. The players are responding very well. The fans should expect a different Medeama next season. Honestly, we are aiming to win the Premier League or the FA Cup. We missed out on our target last season, but I’m sure we will make it next season and win laurels” he said.
As part of processes to strengthen their squad, Medeama SC have completed the signing of left-back Paul Yeboah ahead of next season.
Yeboah joins the Tarkwa based club on a four-year deal from Division One League side Golden Kick FC, a side he guided to last season’s Ghana FA Cup finals where they lost to Asante Kotoko.
The Mauve and Yellow are currently in Ivory Coast for pre-season where they have recorded one win and one defeat in two friendly games.
