PSL: Magesi FC bolster squad with capture of winger Levy Mashiane

South Africa top flight side, Magesi FC have strengthened their attacking ranks for the second half of the 2025/26 season with the signing of winger Levy Mashiane.

Levy Mashiane joins the Limpopo based club from neighbours Polokwane City FC, a move that is geared toward the fight for the Betway Premiership survival.

Mashiane only joined Polokwane City on a free transfer in 2025 following the ejection of Royal AM, making just nine appearances across all competitions.

Magesi FC announced: “Dikwena Tsa Meetse welcomes Levy Mashiane!Let’s Do This!,” reads the club’s statement released on Tuesday morning.

The 29-year-old winger is expected to add the needed bite upfront as Magesi FC look to move out of the bottom of the table with 11 points from 14 matches into the current campaign.

He adds up to the arrival of Orlando Pirates duo of Sifiso Luthuli and Siyabonga Ndlozi as well as Mpho Raphadu with the players set to be available for selection against Orlando Pirates on Saturday, 31 January 2026 at 18:00 at the Orlando Stadium.
