Betway Premiership side Sekhukhune United are not wasting any time in the January transfer window. The Limpopo-based outfit has confirmed the signing of Ivorian winger Amede Tidiane Diomande, marking their second acquisition of the month.
The 26-year-old arrives with a diverse pedigree, having played across West Africa and Europe. Diomande previously featured for Williamsville and FC San Pedro in his native Ivory Coast before a stint in Armenia with Shirak Gyumri.
Most recently, he turned out for Ivorian powerhouses ASEC Mimosas and Stade d’Abidjan.

In an official statement released via their social media platforms on Thursday, Babina Noko expressed their excitement over the new arrival.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of Ivorian-born winger, Amede Tidiane Diomande. His speed and skill bring exciting attacking options to our squad,” said the PSL outfit.
Diomande isn’t the only fresh face in the Sekhukhune camp. The club has been aggressive in the market to ensure a strong finish to the Betway Premiership season.
The return of Congolese marksman Andy Boyeli from his loan spell at Tanzanian giants Young Africans is expected to provide a massive boost to the club’s goal-scoring department. Additionally, the capture of Lehlohonolo Mojela from Stellenbosch FC signals a clear intent to add more dynamism to the final third.
However, it hasn’t all been arrivals. The club recently bid farewell to midfield veteran Miguel Timm, who has moved to Cape Town City, leaving a gap in the engine room that the technical team will look to fill through tactical adjustments or further signings.
With Diomande, Boyeli, and Mojela now in the mix, Sekhukhune United’s offensive arsenal looks significantly more potent for the second half of the campaign.
