Pyramids FC produced a stunning performance on Saturday evening, sweeping aside Tala’ea El Gaish 4-0 at the 30 June Stadium in round nine of the 2025-2026 Nile Egyptian League. The emphatic win marked the club’s biggest-ever triumph over their military rivals in 18 encounters.
Moroccan full-back Mohamed Chibi was the star of the night, striking twice in quick succession before halftime. His opener came in the 42nd minute with a well-executed long-range effort – his first goal of the season. Just four minutes later, he doubled the lead with a composed finish after breaking clear on goal, sending Pyramids into the interval 2-0 ahead.
The dominance continued after the restart. Brazilian forward Everton da Silva extended the advantage in the 65th minute, firing home from inside the box after being teed up by Fiston Mayele. Six minutes later, Mahmoud Zalaka added the fourth with a clever feint and a shot, sealing his maiden goal of the campaign and underlining Pyramids’ supremacy.
The result not only highlighted the attacking strength of Pyramids but also rewrote the history of this fixture, delivering their largest margin of victory against Tala’ea El Gaish.
With the three points, Pyramids climb to third place on 14 points, just behind Al Masry (15) and leaders Zamalek (17). El Gaish, meanwhile, sit 14th on nine points.
