Pyramids FC wrapped up their European training camp in Turkey with a 2-1 win over Iranian league champions Tractor, in a friendly match held at the Sapanca Ataturk Stadium, near the city of Izmit where the team has been based.
The first half ended in a goalless draw, before the Iranian side took the lead early in the second half. Pyramids responded with an equalizer scored by striker Fiston Mayele, who finished off a precise assist from Mohamed Chibi. The winner came shortly after when a Tractor defender mistakenly scored an own goal while trying to deal with a powerful cross from Abd Alrahman Magdy.

At the start of the second half, head coach introduced the team’s new Brazilian signing, Ewerton da Silva. Around the 60th minute mark, several substitutions were made, including the introduction of goalkeeper Ziad Haitham, as well as Karim Hafez, Mahmoud Marei, Ahmed Sami, Tarek Alaa, Mohanad Lasheen, Abdel Rahman Magdy, Ahmed Atef “Qotta”, Mohamed Reda “Bobo”, and Marwan Hamdy.
