Pyramids FC have officially announced the signing of Mohamed Hamdy from ENPPI as part of their squad reinforcement during the ongoing winter transfer window.
The Sky Blues secured the 22-year-old left-back on a loan deal until the end of the current season, in line with the club’s desire to strengthen the left-back position, which currently includes Karim Hafez as the only available option. The move comes after Hamdy recently suffered an ACL injury while on international duty with the Egypt national team.
Mohamed Hamdy began his football career at ENPPI, before moving on loan to Zamalek, and later returning to the Petroleum Club. He now takes the next step in his career with a switch to Pyramids FC.
On the international stage, the young defender has already made three appearances for Egypt.
Hamdy becomes Pyramids’ fifth signing of the winter transfer window, following the arrivals of Hamed Hamdan, Nasser Maher, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, and Pascal Phiri.
During the current season, the left-back featured in 11 matches across all competitions for ENPPI, accumulating 486 minutes and scoring one goal.
