Pyramids FC have officially announced the signing of playmaker Nasser Maher from Zamalek in a high-profile move during the current transfer window.
Nasser Maher is considered one of Zamalek’s standout players, and his move to Pyramids — a direct and strong competitor — represents a significant blow for the White Knights. Zamalek approved the deal due to the ongoing financial difficulties facing the club.
In his presentation video as a Pyramids player, Nasser Maher said:
“You don’t always have to see the ghost… but I want you to see me. I am Nasser Maher, and I am at Pyramids.”
The 28-year-old joined Zamalek in January 2024 after arriving from Modern Sport. Since then, he has made 60 appearances in a Zamalek shirt, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
During his spell with Zamalek, Nasser Maher won two trophies: the Egypt Cup and the CAF Super Cup, before completing his move to Pyramids as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
