2025 CAF Champions League winners, Pyramids FC, have reportedly turned down the latest offer from the Saudi Pro League for their in-demand star striker, Fiston Mayele.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international is currently a hot commodity, having proven prolific since his arrival in the Egyptian capital. He's found the back of the net 39 times and provided seven assists in 81 matches for the club.

While the 30-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, it now appears a Saudi Arabian club is intensifying its pursuit of the forward.

According to Saudi publication Asharq Al-Awsat, Al Fateh are determined to sign Mayele.

The club reportedly sees him as a top target, not only for his impressive goal-scoring record but also for his pivotal role in Pyramids' recent successes. This includes their historic Egyptian Cup victory in the 2023/24 season, which marked the club's first major trophy, and their recent CAF Champions League triumph.

Although the specific value of Al Fateh's latest offer hasn't been disclosed, the report confirms that Pyramids FC has rejected the bid.

Despite this, Mayele is believed to be eager to secure a move and experience playing in the star-studded Saudi Pro League.
