Pyramids return to winning ways with victory over Pharco

Pyramids FC got back on track in the Nile Egyptian League, securing a comfortable 2–0 win over Pharco on Tuesday at the Air Defense Stadium, as part of Matchday 11 of the competition.

Congolese forward Fiston Mayele opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, converting a cross from Mohamed Chibi into the back of the net.

In the second half, Mostafa Fathi doubled the lead in the 57th minute with a header that slipped awkwardly through the hands of the Pharco goalkeeper, sealing the result for the hosts.

With this result, Pyramids move up to 17 points from just eight matches, sitting sixth in the league table. Meanwhile, Pharco remain rooted to the bottom in 21st place with only six points.
