Lloyd Aaron: Muaither SC media
Qatari Second Division side Muaither SC have axed Malawian international Lloyd Aaron barely six months into his three-year contract, raising questions on the actual reasons for such a decision.
There are questions on why coach Aleksandr Viselinovic has released the Flames star considering that he featured regularly for the club.
The 24-year-old played in nine matches and scored once across all competitions.
The former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets player has been shown the exit door alongside six other players.
In a statement, Muaither SC did not state the reasons for the axing of Aaron let alone the six others.
“Thank you for what you have given to Muaither club and good luck on your journey ahead,” reads the club’s communication.
The Flames star signed for the Qatari team from Bullets last July. The dreadlocked midfielder made 54 appearances across all competitions for Bullets, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
Meanwhile, the Qatari club has since recruited Spaniard Marc Maruicos Saiz from Bergantinos and Moroccan player Yanis Marah.
