Rabia’s backheel wins Goal of the Round award in UAE Pro League

Egypt international defender Ramy Rabia has been awarded the Goal of Round 22 in the UAE Pro League after his brilliant strike in Al Ain’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.

Rabia played a key role in Al Ain’s dramatic win at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Round 22 of the 2025-26 ADNOC Pro League season, helping his side strengthen their grip on top spot in the title race.

Abu Dhabi Sports, the exclusive broadcaster of the UAE Pro League, officially announced Rabia as the winner of the round’s best goal award following his spectacular finish in the 44th minute of the match.

The goal came after an effort from Al Ain midfielder Abdul Karim Traore inside the penalty area. As the ball made its way through a crowded box, Rabia produced an instinctive backheel touch that diverted it into the net, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
