Rasheedat Ajibade ready to go as Nigeria seeks tenth WAFCON title

Nigeria women’s national team captain Rasheedat Ajibade has affirmed that the team is fully focused on winning their tenth title at the upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Justin Madugu’s side are the most successful team in the history of the tournament and will be challenging for a tenth title when hostilities begin in Morocco next month.

Ajibade, who will be making her third appearance at the WAFCON during a CAFonline declared that they will go all out to win the title.

“We are focused on Mission X. For us, effort is everything.”

The Super Falcons arrive Casablanca on Wednesday for their final preparations, where they will play a friendly against Ghana before the WAFCON.
