Moroccan winger Reda Slim is set to return to AS FAR (Royal Army Club) on loan from Al Ahly, according to comments made by Ahmed Shobier on Al Ahly’s official TV channel.
Slim, 25, joined Al Ahly in July 2023 from AS FAR but has now agreed to head back to his former club on a season-long loan, with the move expected to be finalized in the coming days.
“Reda Slim confirmed to us that Al Ahly’s management has reached an agreement with AS FAR regarding his return,” said Shobier during the club’s flagship TV program.
The deal will see Slim spend the 2025–26 season in Morocco, before rejoining Al Ahly in the summer of 2026.
Since joining the Egyptian giants, Slim has contributed to 8 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions, but struggled to cement a regular starting role.
The move marks a return “home” for Slim, who spent six years at AS FAR (2017–2023), having joined their youth setup from Raja Casablanca’s academy before rising to become one of the Moroccan league’s standout players.re
