Orlando Pirates' Relebohile Mofokeng has offered an honest self-assessment, highlighting the areas of his game he believes need improvement following the club’s final match of the PSL season.

Mofokeng led the attack as Pirates ended their 2024/25 Betway Premiership campaign with a 1-1 draw against Magesi FC at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday. This result saw Bucs secure a second-place finish, ensuring their CAF Champions League qualification again.

During the season, the 20-year-old Mofokeng was a key player for the Soweto giants. His impressive performances have even put him in contention for the PSL Footballer of the Season award.

The Bafana Bafana star ended the domestic league season with five goals and eight assists in 26 games. However, in all competitions, including the CAF Champions League, Mofokeng scored 12 and provided 15 assists in 49 games.

Following his Man of the Match performance in the draw against Magesi FC, Mofokeng said that scoring goals is an area for personal growth.

“I think I did well this season," said Mofokeng on SuperSport TV. "I just need to continue to improve and work hard [...] A place where I can improve is scoring because that’s the only thing missing in my game."

"I can create and assist. But it’s my lack of scoring [that] I think I can improve with a lot of practice.”
