Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Remo Stars Ladies, have completed the signing of nine new players and announced a new club captain ahead of the 2025–26 league season.
The Sky Blue Stars, who are seeking a maiden NWFL championship title, unveiled all nine players on Monday.

The additions include two new goalkeepers in Edward Favour from Naija Ratels and Obidimma Nkiruka, with Akanji Kaosarat and Pius Happiness coming into the defensive line.

Also joining Remo Stars are Ekiti Queens winger Tobiloba Sarafa, Dreamstar Ladies winger Anifowose Kadijat, striker Chiamaka Ojialor from Abia Angels, Kehinde Ajayi, and midfielder Mega Cynthia, who joins from defending NWFL champions Bayelsa Queens.
The two-time FA Cup champions also announced their new captain hierarchy for the season, with Immaculata Offiong named captain, to be assisted by Ogundele Olasubomi and Oleka Eberechukwu.
Remo Stars Ladies, who are in Group B, will kick off their campaign with an away trip to the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday, where they will lock horns with newly promoted Ahudiyannem Queens.
