Remo Stars secure signature of Malian striker Adama Goïta

Reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, have completed the signing of Malian international striker Adama Goïta.

Goïta put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Sky Blue Stars. The talented striker joins Remo Stars from Malian club, AS Bakary Djan, where he had a standout season.He was a prolific goalscorer, netting an impressive 14 goals across all competitions.

Sources close to the deal indicate that the signing is a direct replacement for experienced striker Sikiru Alimi, who has departed the Ikenne-based club.

Alimi has already left the Ikenne club following the expiration of his contracts. Goïta is expected to arrive in Nigeria this week to complete his medical.
