Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is reported to be a top transfer target for French Ligue 1 side, Rennes
This report comes after Osayi-Samuel failed to reach an agreement with Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce on a new contract, making the Nigerian a free agent entering the 2025 summer transfer market.
Rennes are looking for a replacement for Lorenz Assignon, who is set to join Bundesliga club, Stuttgart. The French club are reported admirals of the 27-year-old versatility.
However, reports claim that the Nigerian defender is keen on a return to the English Premier League as Crystal Palace are also monitoring Osayi-Samuel.
He has played 117 Süper Lig matches for Fenerbache, scoring 6 goals, and has also featured in Europa League, Champions League qualifiers, and Turkish Cup matches.
The Nigerian defenderl joined Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers in 2021.
