Zamalek’s football director, Abd AlWahed El-Sayed, confirmed that Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," the team's star, will not miss the upcoming match against Petrojet in the Nile Egyptian League.

El-Sayed explained that Zizo received his second yellow card in today's match against Pharco, having previously been booked in the game against Ceramica Cleopatra. He stressed that today's booking was not his third and that he did not receive any yellow cards in the match against Tala’ea El Gaish.

This poses a threat to Zizo, as receiving a yellow card in the next match would rule him out of the highly anticipated league clash against Al Ahly on February 22.

On the other hand, goalkeeper Mohamed Awad, winger Mostafa Shalaby and midfielder Mohamed Shehata will be absent from the Petrojet match due to yellow card accumulation, as they each received their third booking in Tuesday's 1-0 victory against Pharco.

Additionally, midfielder Mahmoud Gehad will also miss the next match after being sent off having received two yellow cards.

These absences add to the absence of midfielder Nasser Maher, who was suspended for three matches (including Al Ahly game) due to unsportsmanlike conduct in the previous game against Ismaily, which led to his sending off.

Zamalek secured a 1-0 victory over Pharco in their match held as part of the 13th round of the Nile Egyptian League, raising their tally to 26 points and maintaining their position in third place in the league standings.
