Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Omorinsola Babajide has officially been announced as a new addition to Italian club AS Roma Femminile for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

The announcement came via the club’s official social media channels on Monday, where they confirmed and welcomed the Nigerian international. Babajide, who left UD Tenerife after her contract expired at the end of the 2024/25 season, will remain with the Italian side until June 30, 2027.

The 27-year-old began her career in England, playing for Millwall, Watford, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion before moving to Spain for spells with Real Betis and Tenerife.

From 2015 to 2019, she represented the England National Team at youth level. However, in 2023, the forward made the decision to switch her international allegiance to the Nigerian national team, the Super Falcons.

Babajide is currently on international duty with the Super Falcons at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where she has already contributed with a goal and an assist.
