Sources in Tunisia have revealed to Pan-Africa Football's Ablam Gnamesso that midfielder Roger Aholou's contract with Espérance has been terminated. He was under contract until June 2026.
Arriving in January 2024 from Casablanca club Raja CA, Aholou, 31, will leave Espérance. According to revelations made to Pan-Africa Football, the Tunisian club's board of directors reached an agreement with Togolese international Aholou to terminate his contract by mutual consent. The reasons for this early termination were not disclosed by Pan-Africa Football's sources.
Roger Aholou has been suffering from a muscle injury since last February, which has forced him to take an extended rest period. Before his injury, he played 36 matches in all competitions for Espérance over the last two seasons.
