RS Berkane midfielder Mamadou Camara named best foreign player in Morocco’s Botola Pro

RS Berkane midfielder Mamadou Lamine Camara has been voted the Best Foreign Player of the 2024/25 Morocco Botola Pro League. The Senegalese midfielder had a superb season with Berkane, helping his side win the league, the CAF Confederation Cup, and reach the semifinals of the ongoing Throne Cup.

At the heart of the midfield, Camara’s stellar performances earned him the award. The 22-year-old midfielder has made over 100 appearances for Berkane and was instrumental in their title-winning 2024/25 season. He scored one goal in the league.

His performances at club level caught the attention of Senegal coach Pape Thiaw, and Camara made his full international debut for the Lions of Teranga against Ireland. The 2023 U-20 AFCON champion has one year remaining on his contract with Berkane.
