Rwanda Premier League champions APR FC have released six players in a rebuilding exercise ahead of next season.
The newly-crowned champions did not state the reason for the offloading of the players who include Nigerian Victor Mbaoma, Pavelh Ndzila (Congo Brazzaville) and Thaddeo Lwanga (Uganda).
"With deep gratitude and respect, APR FC Management announces the departure of Kwitonda Alain, Ndayishimiye Dieudonne, Victor Mbaoma, Pavelh Ndzila, Taddeo Lwanga and Nshimirimana Ismaël as they conclude their contracts with us," APR's statement reads.
"We thank them sincerely for their service and commitment, and we wish each of them nothing but success, joy, and fulfillment in the next chapter of their journeys."
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Adolphe Hakizimana has joined APR from AS Kigali as the champions seek to bring in fresh blood.
