The highly anticipated Thousand Hills Derby between APR FC and Rayon Sports ended in a goalless draw from the Rwanda Premier League clash on Sunday at Amahoro Stadium.

Coming into the game just two points behind table leaders Rayon Sports, APR FC had a golden opportunity to claim the top spot but failed to capitalize.

In a tense and tactical encounter, both teams adopted a cautious approach, leading to a match with few clear-cut chances.

Ugandan duo Denis Omedi and Hakim Kiwanuka were named in the starting lineup but were withdrawn at different intervals in the second half, while Taddeo Lwanga remained an unused substitute.

With the result, Rayon Sports maintain their position at the top with 43 points from 20 games, while APR FC stay second with 41 points from the same number of matches.
