Sadibou Sane is yet to earn a senior Senegal cap

“At first, there was a bit of pressure because it was my first match. Then I told myself: now we’re in it, and I’m going to stay focused on the game,” he explained.

Sadibou Sane, 21, expressed personal ambition of playing for the Teranga Lions. “Playing for your country, defending your colors, must be an immense pleasure. Senegal’s greatest strength is its strong team spirit.”

Despite the club’s difficult situation, currently bottom of Ligue 1, the defender insists the team remains focused on staying up: “We’re going to do everything we can to stay in Ligue 1. I know it’s tough, but we’re going to hang in there and give it our all.”
