A highly anticipated clash between the current English Premier League leaders and last season's champions saw Liverpool emerge victorious with a routine 2-0 victory at the Ettihad Stadium on Sunday.
Billed as an exciting clash between long time Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah and rising talent Omar Marmoush, the match underwhelmed as Liverpool looked in firm control with Salah showing why he is the most in form player in world football. Salah opened the scoring inside fifteen minutes from a well executed corner kick by Liverpool.
