Salah scores and assists as Liverpool beat Brighton 3-0 in FA Cup

Liverpool FC secured a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening in the Round of 32 of the FA Cup, booking their place in the Round of 16.

Egypt international Mohamed Salah started the match and delivered an outstanding performance, contributing both a goal and an assist before being substituted in the 77th minute for Rio Ngumoha.

Liverpool opened the scoring in the 41st minute through Curtis Jones, who gave the Reds the lead before halftime.

In the 57th minute, Salah produced a moment of brilliance, delivering a sublime assist to Dominik Szoboszlai, who fired home a shot from inside the penalty area to double Liverpool’s advantage.

Salah’s influence continued as he won a penalty. The Egyptian star stepped up and converted the spot-kick in the 67th minute with a strike into the top-left corner, sealing the 3-0 result.

With this victory, Liverpool advance to the FA Cup Round of 16.
