Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah added a new milestone to his Africa Cup of Nations career after finding the net in Egypt’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals of AFCON 2025.
Salah scored one of Egypt’s goals as the Pharaohs booked their place in the semi-finals of the tournament, where they are set to face Senegal next Wednesday.
With his goal against Ivory Coast, Salah achieved a historic record, becoming the first player in Africa Cup of Nations history to score against 11 different national teams in the competition.
The Liverpool forward’s remarkable Africa Cup of Nations scoring list includes goals against 11 teams across multiple editions of the tournament.
