Samba Diallo seals loan transfer to Ukrainian club Rukh Lviv

Senegalese winger Samba Diallo has officially joined Ukrainian club Rukh Lviv on loan from Dynamo Kyiv until the end of the season.

Diallo, the former Darou Salam Academy player, is leaving Dynamo Kyiv, where he is under contract until June 2026, to join a club struggling to bolster its attack in the Ukrainian Premier League.

Diallo will wear jersey number 14

The player, who will wear the number 14 shirt for his new club, hopes to get more playing time for the remainder of the season. Since his return on loan in June 2025, he had not played an official match.

This move follows a previous loan spell in Israel, where he played for Hapoel Jerusalem last season. However, Samba Diallo did not get as many minutes as hoped, playing only 19 matches and scoring three goals.

Diallo has one cap with Senegal

Samba is a product of the local AF Darou Salam, but in July 2021 he signed a contract with Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv and played in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves.

He made his debut for Dynamo Kyiv on 28 October 2022, playing as a second-half substitute in a draw away to Cypriot club AEK Larnaca in the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League group stage.

On September 13, 2024 loaned to the Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Jerusalem.He represented Senegal in the U-17 category where he managed seven appearances, and scored one goal.

Diallo was promoted to the U-20 team, where he featured 10 times and scored one goal, before he secured his first cap for the senior Senegal team in 2023.
