The DR Congo national team midfielder showed his technical brilliance in the 87th minute. With the match level at 1-1, a short corner led to a cross that was cleared out to the edge of the area. Moutoussamy touched the ball into the air with his right foot before spinning to volley into the goal with his left foot.

The technical masterpiece was surely worthy of a match-winning goal. However, visitors Panserraikos found their response in equally sensational fashion. Despite a red card earlier in the second half, a corner kick in stoppage time led to former Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira’s clever flicked header to the leveler.

It was a devastating blow to Atromitos, who have endured inconsistent form all season. They remain in the bottom half of the table in 9th place, and are four points outside of the top-8 clubs who qualify for the championship group later in the campaign.

The goal was Moutoussamy’s second of the season from twenty appearances. He joined his latest club after spending a little over a season with Turkish side Sivasspor.

The long time member of FC Nantes remains an integral member of the Congolese national team. He played three matches at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations as the Leopards exited at the Round of 16 stage and also played every minute of their victorious run at the African regional qualifying playoff for the 2026 World Cup.
