The penultimate round of matches continued on Wednesday from the Saudi Pro League with Jackson Muleka and Aliou Dieng contributing to a victory for Al-Kholood while Sadio Mané was involved in Al-Nassr's win.

After struggling to break down Al Khaleej at home along with Cristiano Ronaldo's failure to convert a penalty kick, Mané helped Nassr break the deadlock on their way to a 2-0 victory.

The Senegalese star's pinpoint cross found the head of striker Jhon Duran for the opening goal in the 75th minute before Ronaldo got it right from the spot on his second attempt in stoppage time. Mané now has 13 goals and 11 assists in 31 Saudi Pro League matches this season for fourth place Nassr, who must defeat Al Fateh in their final match to have any hopes of qualifying for continental competition next season.

Al-Kholood defeated Fashion Sakala and Al Fayha in the other earlier match from Wednesday and it was a loanee from Cairo giants Al Ahly, Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng, who found the goal. The powerful central player combined with Congolese striker Jackson Muleka who set up Dieng for the finish to put the result beyond doubt.

Both teams will remain in the Saudi Pro League next season after successfully avoiding relegation. Dieng now has three goals this season with a permanent transfer away from Al Ahly looking more and more likely by the day. Muleka, on loan from Turkish club Besiktas, has had an underwhelming season with 5 goals and 6 assists in 28 league matches.
